Monitor key markers to safeguard your cardiovascular health.

A heart check can reveal important insights into cholesterol, triglycerides, and other key cardiovascular markers. Your sample is processed in an NHS-accredited lab, giving you trustworthy results and expert advice.

Ideally book for your sample collection in the morning, before food.
Ideal for adults over 40, especially those with high cholesterol, high blood pressure, lifestyle risk factors, or a family history of heart disease.
This test includes:
Check in at our clinic for your selected appointment date and time. One of our clinicians will take you through a few basic checks, before taking a blood sample from a vein in your arm. The whole process shouldn't take more than 15 minutes.
Afterwards, we'll bring you out to our waiting area, and you are welcome to enjoy a tea or coffee before going about your day. We will send your sample for analysis.
For the most accurate results, schedule your blood test in the morning, ideally within three hours of waking, and fast for 4-6 hours before the test if possible. We can still complete your blood test if you book outside this window, but it may affect your results.
Drinking water is encouraged. Staying well hydrated helps make the blood collection easier. On the day of your appointment, wear a loose-fitting top so your arm is easily accessible.
After booking, you will receive a pre-appointment questionnaire via email - please complete it before attending your appointment.

High Sensitivity C-Reactive Protein (hs-CRP): A marker of inflammation; elevated levels can indicate higher risk of heart disease.
LDL Cholesterol: “Bad” cholesterol that can build up in arteries; high levels increase heart disease and stroke risk.
Oestradiol: Influences heart and blood vessel health, particularly in women; imbalances may affect cardiovascular risk.
Total Cholesterol: Overall cholesterol level; helps indicate heart disease risk.
Testosterone (total): Impacts heart and vascular health; abnormal levels can influence cardiovascular risk in both men and women.
Triglycerides: Blood fats used for energy; elevated levels can contribute to heart disease.
Uric Acid: High levels may increase the risk of hypertension, heart disease, and gout.
