Who performs the scans?
All of our ultrasound scans are delivered by experts. So whether it's an abdominal scan, joint issues or cardiac screening, it is always reported by a specialist consultant.
How do the scans work?
After checking in, you'll meet with the consultant who will discuss your symptoms first.
Then, they will apply a small amount of gel on the scanning probe and run it over the area, giving a live view of the problem area.
They will be able to discuss the results with you during the appointment.
When do I get my report?
Your report is always with you within 24 hours of your scan.
What if there's something else needing checked?
Whether it's a blood test, further imaging using MRI or CT, or a specialist referral, we will be able to either book you straight in or advice on clear next steps and recommendations.
How much does the scan cost?
Scans vary dependent on the type of scan we perform, but generally for ultrasound range from £300 to £450.
This includes the report and consultation.
