We can detect tendon degeneration or tears caused by overuse or acute injury. It also allows dynamic assessment, meaning the tendon can be examined while moving to see how it functions.
Inflammation
Ultrasound can identify inflammation in soft tissues, joints and tendons by showing swelling, fluid or increased blood flow in the affected area.
Lumps & swelling
Examines lumps or swollen areas to determine whether they are fluid-filled, solid, or related to inflammation. Helps distinguish between cysts, fluid collections, and other abnormalities.
