FAQs

What does this procedure involve?

The skin is thoroughly cleaned, and a local anaesthetic is first injected to numb the area. The needle is then guided to the target area under ultrasound guidance for accuracy. Once the correct position is confirmed, the steroid is administered. The procedure typically takes just a few minutes and is generally very well tolerated.

What are the symptoms of Tennis Elbow?

Pain is felt on the outer side of the elbow, often spreading into the forearm. It worsens with gripping, twisting, or lifting.

How can a steroid injection help?

The injection reduces inflammation and pain. It does not cure the condition but can provide relief for weeks or months.
