Head & Neck MRI

MRI of the head and neck provides highly detailed images of the soft tissues, glands, air spaces, and structures in this complex area of the body. Our Head & Neck MRI options are tailored to focus on specific areas, depending on your symptoms and clinical needs.

Neck | Sinuses | Face

Neck MRI

This scan examines the soft tissues of the neck, including the lymph nodes, salivary glands, thyroid, throat, and surrounding structures. It may be recommended for:

- A lump or swelling in the neck
- Enlarged lymph nodes
- Salivary or thyroid concerns
- Difficulty swallowing
- Ongoing, non-spinal neck pain

This scan helps assess inflammation, infection, cysts, and other structural changes.

Sinuses MRI

An MRI of the sinuses provides detailed images of the sinus cavities and surrounding soft tissues. It is particularly helpful when evaluating persistent or complex sinus symptoms. It may be advised for:

- Chronic or recurrent sinus symptoms
- Facial pressure or pain
- Suspected sinus inflammation or infection
- Nasal obstruction
- Further assessment of abnormalities seen on other imaging

MRI can help differentiate between inflammation, fluid, polyps, and other soft tissue causes of sinus symptoms.

Face MRI

A face MRI provides detailed images of the facial soft tissues, including the salivary glands, muscles, nerves, and jaw region. It may be recommended for:

- Facial swelling or asymmetry
- Lumps or masses
- Persistent facial pain
- Suspected salivary gland or nerve-related concerns
- Position & migration of cosmetic filler in the face and head

This scan helps assess both superficial and deeper structures of the face to clarify the cause of symptoms.
